01 Parts – Legal Disclaimer & Waiver of Liability

IMPORTANT NOTICE – READ BEFORE PURCHASING OR USING

By purchasing, installing, or using any product sold by 01 Parts (“Products”), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following terms and conditions.

1. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK / OFF-ROAD USE ONLY

All 01 Parts Products are sold for aftermarket, off-road, racing, or closed-course use only unless explicitly stated otherwise.

Some Products may be intended for or compatible with electric bikes, electric dirt bikes, or other vehicles that may NOT be legal for public road use in your jurisdiction.

It is your sole responsibility to determine whether the use of any Product is legal under local, provincial/state, and federal laws, including vehicle registration, licensing, insurance, and safety regulations.

01 Parts assumes no responsibility for ensuring road legality.

Use of any Product is entirely at your own risk.

2. NO LIABILITY FOR INJURY, DAMAGE, OR LOSS

To the fullest extent permitted by law, 01 Parts, its owners, affiliates, partners, employees, and distributors (“we,” “us,” or “our”) assume no liability for any:

  • Personal injury

  • Property damage

  • Vehicle damage

  • Fire or electrical damage

  • Battery failure

  • Death

  • Financial loss

arising from the purchase, installation, use, misuse, or inability to use any Product.

3. NO LIABILITY FOR MISUSE, IMPROPER INSTALLATION, OR MODIFICATION

Our Products are intended for experienced users or qualified professionals familiar with mechanical and/or electrical systems.

You agree that 01 Parts is not responsible for:

  • Improper or unsafe installation

  • Installation by unqualified individuals

  • Incorrect wiring or mechanical assembly

  • Unauthorized modifications or alterations

  • Use on incompatible or uncertified vehicles

  • Racing, stunts, jumps, or high-stress use

  • Failure to inspect, maintain, or secure Products

Any misuse, improper installation, or modification immediately voids any warranty and releases 01 Parts from all liability.

4. SAFETY WARNING – MECHANICAL COMPONENTS

Mechanical Products may affect vehicle performance, handling, braking, and stability.

Always:

  • Verify proper alignment, torque, and tension

  • Inspect all fasteners regularly

  • Test ride carefully in a controlled area

  • Have installation inspected by a qualified mechanic

Failure to follow these precautions may result in serious injury, accidents, or death.

5. SAFETY WARNING – ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS (CHARGERS, BATTERIES, CONTROLLERS)

Electrical Products involve high current and high voltage systems.

Improper use may result in electric shock, fire, battery damage, explosion, or death.

You must:

  • Confirm compatibility with your battery type and voltage

  • Never use near water or flammable materials

  • Never modify connectors, wiring, or chargers

  • Inspect cables and plugs before each use

  • Disconnect immediately if overheating, sparks, smoke, or unusual odor occur

  • Never leave batteries unattended while charging

  • Use only in dry, well-ventilated areas

01 Parts is not liable for any damage or injury caused by improper charging, incompatible batteries, unsafe wiring, or environmental conditions.

6. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent allowed by law:

  • All implied warranties are disclaimed, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose

  • 01 Parts shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

  • Total liability, if any, shall never exceed the original purchase price of the Product

7. USER RESPONSIBILITY & RELEASE

By purchasing or using any 01 Parts Product, you agree that:

  • You assume full responsibility for safe installation and operation

  • You have verified legal compliance in your jurisdiction

  • You understand the risks associated with modified or high-performance e-bikes

  • You release, indemnify, and hold harmless 01 Parts from all claims arising from use or misuse of the Product

8. WARRANTY DISCLAIMER

Unless explicitly stated in writing, all Products are sold “AS IS” with no express or implied warranty.

Performance, durability, fitment, and appearance may vary depending on vehicle condition and setup.

9. GOVERNING LAW

This disclaimer shall be governed by the laws of British Columbia, without regard to conflict of law principles.

You agree that any legal disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts located in British Columbia.

10. CHANGES TO THIS DISCLAIMER

01 Parts reserves the right to update or modify this disclaimer at any time without prior notice.
The most current version will always apply at the time of purchase.
